Fire Destroys A Spider Web Farm In Vermont (Video)
Posted by Steve on October 27 2016

Ever been to a spider web farm?  Of course you haven't, because those don't exist, right?!  Well, for everywhere except for this small Vermont town, that statement would be correct.

Up until a few days ago, Williamstown, Vermont was the home to a 150-year-old barn that housed the Spider Web Farm.  And at the Spider Web Farm, which was run by some old timer, they had many spider webs on display.  They had figured out a way to preserve spider webs on glass permanently and then sell them for profit.  But on Tuesday, all of that went away when a fire ripped through the barn, destroying everything.

Fire investigators say that it’s unclear what started the fire and it got out of control too fast to contain it.  So Williamstown has lost a local treasure.

Is it just us, or does this all seem a little fishy?  The son seems a bit too cheery while being interviewed in front of the rubble.  And he said he had a feeling that the barn would burn down one day?  C’mon!  Seems like arson to us!
