Now, we don't condone going around robbing houses at all. It's not the ideal career path, to say the least. But if you do find yourself in a situation where you're about to rob a place, we have some advice for you: Make sure that the guy that lives at the house isn't a huge dude who does jiu-jitsu, because you'll probably get your ass kicked...which is what happened recently to a man in Florida.
Brian Burch of Fort Meyers heard a rustling out in his garage recently, so he went out to check it out. He confronted Josue Ortiz, who had a handful of Burch's tools and was armed with a terrible excuse. He told Burch that "the boss" told him to come over and pick up the tools. Burch was having none of it, causing Ortiz to attempt to run. But he didn't get far. Burch caught him, punched him in the face and wrestled him to the ground and held him there until cops showed up. And when the cops got there, they basically told Ortiz that he messed with the wrong dude and was lucky he didn't get his ass beaten any worse! Awesome!
Ortiz was arrested and charged with burglary and grand theft.
