Stupidity comes in all shapes, sizes and walks of life. Big or small, tall or short, there are some people out there who are just plain stupid. For instance, who thinks it’s a good idea to light a forest fire just get some views on Facebook? Stupid people, that's who! And Johnny Mullins of Jenkins, Kentucky did just that.
Mullins is an aspiring weatherman who is accused of setting the fire in order to get views on Facebook. Out of all the things that someone could do to get views, why would you choose something ILLEGAL?! In the video, there’s barely a fire that can be seen. The forest doesn’t even look charred. Mullins claims that he got soaked by the helicopters flying overhead that were dumping water on the fire, yet he was perfectly dry. Great reporting there, Johnny!
Mullins was arrested on one count of second degree arson. Police stated that he claims that he did it for the attention and that he didn't know that he could have harmed anyone. The only thing that he should have changed, besides not setting the fire in the first place, is that he should have started his video with a reenactment of Jack Nicholson's Jack Torrance "Here's Johnny" scene. Now that would have gotten him some views!
