An eight-year-old North Carolina boy was in Utah with his family when they took him to the emergency room for headaches.
Their stay at the hospital was extended when he suddenly had to have surgery on a brain tumor.
Unfortunately, with how fast everything happened, the family had to leave their beloved dog Frank back home in North Carolina.
The young boy really needed his best buddy by his side so a complete stranger saw the family's story on social media and voluntarily drove Frank the 2,300 miles to reunite the pals!
Now he is doing better, with his pup by his side, and the family is now making plans to come home and the kind stranger offered to make the trip again to get Frank back home.
